On the Western shore of Lake Ladoga, in the village of Kokkorevo, Vsevolozhsky district, Leningrad region, there is a one-story wooden building of a former school, built in 1938 by the Vaganovsky Village Council, and used for its intended purpose in 1939. From November 1941 to 1943, this building housed the headquarters of the VAD-101 Ice Section and the Lenfront communications center with telephone, radio and telegraphic equipment that provided communication with Smolny and Bolshaya Zemlya throughout the entire period of the siege of Leningrad.

Old exhibits have been preserved here and modern multimedia technologies have been added.
